Welcome to Networks School for Employability Skills!
Networks School for Employability Skills prepares students for successful careers by teaching them real-world job skills in a hands-on learning environment.
At Networks, students learn by doing. Our school operates over 12 community-based enterprise areas that work like actual businesses. Instead of just reading textbooks, students use professional equipment and technology to complete real work tasks. Each enterprise area serves as a working classroom where students practice the skills employers are looking for.
Building Skills for Life and Work
Networks helps students develop both technical job skills and the soft skills needed to get hired and keep a job. Our training focuses on preparing students to enter the workforce with confidence. Students graduate ready to start their careers or continue their education after high school.
The school also includes Vocational Arts Enterprise Areas that help students build independence and learn daily living skills they’ll need as adults.

Students learn important employability skills such as:
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Communicating professionally with customers and coworkers
- Solving problems and thinking critically
- Managing time and meeting deadlines
- Adapting to new situations and learning new skills quickly
Real-World Experience
Networks partners with local businesses to give students valuable career experience. Students participate in job shadowing to explore different careers, volunteer in the community, and practice their interview skills through mock and real interviews. Many students also complete internships and cooperative education placements where they work at actual job sites while still in school.
